Method

The sample is every approved political science event in the ResearchCal catalog that starts between November 2, 2025 and November 2, 2027. An event counts in a field when its research codes include that field, so an event can count in more than one field.

Facts come from the official event pages. Each new event and each material change passes a layered review before it is published. The submission deadline is the main public call for papers deadline. Deadlines only for invited or accepted participants are not counted, and lead times count only deadlines before the event starts. An event whose deadline is not announced yet counts in the region and type figures, not in the deadline figures.

A figure is shown only when it counts at least 30 events. The page updates as the catalog changes. Its address stays the same.
